Hippity Hop!!!
Thank goodness for clocks that reset the time after I lose my hour of sleep!!! The great trade-off is that we get another hour of natural sunlight so we can take better pictures of our projects...
I am showcasing the "Alphabetically Adorable" set with the two Ippity scrapbooking sets, "Life's Little Moments," and "Love in Return." Seriously, how can a scrapbooker get along without this fabulous alphabet? It is so fun and the letters are the perfect size for scrapbooks. I saw a new exhibit by Jaume Plensa at the Nasher Sculpture Center recently; he uses words and letters in his sculptures and they are fascinating. I am inspired by his sculptures and hope I get some projects off the ground that incorporate some of his ideas. I am working on it and I plan to use this adorable alphabet.
See how cute it is? The colors in this photo are so great and work perfectly with this paper from My Mind's Eye. I used my alphabet stamps and the banner from "Love in Return" to complete it. This is a spectacular view of St Johns from Signal Hill. The colors are spectacular and I think the embellishments complement it.
See how great the alphabet is with this stylish painting on the streets of St Johns? The stamps are perfect for it. The little stamp at the bottom is actually from "Sweet Thoughts of Spring" but the alphabet is, of course, "Alphabetically Adorable."
And, how could I get through this without the ubiquitous St Johns photo of Victoria Street? We have a beautiful print of it by artist Tish Holland above our bed - it is my favorite picture and always brings back memories of that incredible city. Both stamps are from "Love in Return" and complement this perfectly.
Here is a page I featured a couple of weeks ago - I tweaked it a little because it didn't seem complete. I added the "Happy Birthday" stamp from "Life's Little Moments" and punched it out with a circle punch and distressed the dp edges a little. Now, it shows that Canada Day is Canada's Happy Birthday:-) This dp is from American Crafts and fits the St Johns, Newfoundland scenery perfectly as it is known for its jelly bean houses!
I guess that's it for me today! Remember to leave some love and visit all the other bloghoppers today - click here for this list.
