FWF!!

Hooray, it is Friday!!!  I have a few days off coming up and I need them...Here are some place cards I made with Unity stamps for an event last Saturday.  They were a huge hit as was our luncheon!  The sentiment of from a Kit of the Month and the stars border is from one of the heroes sets that I love....

The America die is from Papertrey Ink and the little banner is from Die-Namics.  Love it when a project comes together!

Happy Thanksgiving and remember that Unity's Black Friday sale is happening right now...

Friends with Flair!!

I have had so little time to papercraft lately but I wanted to share a little card I made with my Unity stamps that adorns some handknit items I made for a baby shower.  The sentiment is from the June 2014 "Basically Said" sentiment kit and I just love it!

Remember to visit all the Friends with Flair on the hop today and shop the great sale!

FWF - We are owly!

So, how do you recycle Crystal Light containers? With washi tape or duct tape and Unity stamps, of course!  I love these owls and the branch from "Owl Always Love You" and the sentiments from a Teacher's Pet set (whose name escapes me right now).   I think these are just the cutest and we will be selling them at the State Fair for our annual fundraiser.  Stop by and see us at Continental DAR House in Dallas between Sept 26 and Oct 19.  We are still making them and the next group will be Halloween and the new "Pick Your Poison" set will be perfect!

Remenber to visit all the Friends with Flair and buy some Unity stamps!

OWH Winner

Great variety of cards. My fave is the paper pieced pinwheels. They just "feel" like summer. Thanks for supporting OWH!

Memorial Day Blog Hop

I am so excited about participating in the OWH Blog Hop.  First of all, what this organization does is amazing!   Second of all, it was a Memorial Day weekend in 2009 when I discovered (1) stamping, and (2) Operation Write Home.  My husband still rues the Memorial Day weekend he left me home by myself to go camping with his son and returned to find a house full of stamps and papercrafting supplies.  I found the illustrious Jennifer McGuire along the hop and she showed me that stamping was actually not as hard as I thought!  It was life-changing.  A trip to Joann's and Michael's immediately after watching her YouTube videos and, now, a full-time love of card making....

The soldiers and their family members who receive these cards absolutely love them and appreciate them more than we could ever know.  It is up to you whether you want to send an Anyhero card with a message to a soldier, or blank cards for a soldier to send to loved ones.  In other words, a win-win...

To celebrate my fifth stampaversary, leave a comment and I will draw a winner who will receive a Unity Stamp set.  It is a newer set  called "Everything Love."  I promise you will love it!

Remember to honor all our military service members, veterans, and the fallen on Memorial Day and every day.  Their sacrifices have made our country possible.

Remember to salute a hero today!!!

Friends and Mothers Day with Flair

It has been too long since I have been here, friends!  I haven't had time to create but I did use some of my Donna Downey flowers for some easy, beautiful cards! I was stunned to see I did not have a Unity Mother's Day sentiment - something I must rectify soon!  The "Mother" is from Papertrey and the label sentiments are from Altenew.   These were easy and I love the way they turned out...

Make sure you visit all the other friends and leave them some love for a chance at a neat prize:-)  Happy Mother's Day!!!!!
