Happy Hippity Hop!!!

Can you believe that January is over?  It is amazing how time flies....

Here are a couple of recent projects - the first one uses some vintage embroidered sheer trim I found at an antique mall.  I circled it numerous times and, finally, couldn't resist buying it.  I used Sizzix embossing folders for the solid cardstock and colored the little flower from "How You Doin" with a new set of Prismacolors (40% off at Asel Art Supply). I wasn't brave enough to trim the white card backing from the sheer trim but I do plan to try that next time when I am able to stitch the card.  Right now, my Big Shot and paper cutter are on top of my sewing cabinet so getting out the machine is a chore!

Here is my husband's idea of playing a joke on our beloved Rosemary - she is looking up at him and wondering why this object is not edible:-)  She's in her favorite afternoon sun retreat in her cat bed.  She is not spoiled at all....

Yesterday was my husband's birthday so I struggled with a masculine card.  I love these charms - they have a little hole at the top so I inserted these cool vintage brads in them.  I embossed the red paper with a Cuttlebug folder.  The papers are from the 365" 6x6 pad from Pink Paislee - I just love their paper!

Here's a closeup of the brad and charm - ignore my embossing powder error - it's part of the distressed feel of the card.

That's it for today!  I hope you all have a wonderful week and I thank you for stopping by!!!

Jennifer
