GROWING IN UNITY - DAY 2

Today's creations use a stamp from a 2022 Kit of the Month and a Sentiment Kit that is no longer on the website called ". . . so very grateful" designed by Lisa Arana.  I love this kit!  And, I have used this kit of the month a lot.  I absolutely love the hydrangea, the dress, and, of course, the strawberries!

So, on to the cards, another try with markers and then with watercolors.  I am not great with either medium but I have to say that I personally prefer watercoloring.  I'll continue to practice with both, though.  The paper I used is from an ancient October Afternoon paper pack that I have been hoarding.  I absolutely love this paper.  Strawberries are a weakness of mine so I will be using this stamp a lot more in the future!

  1. Love your strawberry cards. Both mediums look great, but I prefer the vibrancy of the marker. Thanks for sharing your sweet card

  2. That is a nice KOM you used! I can see a pink polka dot dress ... Your cards are both lovely. I do like the marker colored one best only because the strawberries match the berry color in the dp. ;-)

  3. I have looked at that strawberry stamp multiple times in my KOTM collection but have never inked it! I love what you've done with both mediums!!

  5. Both coloring methods produced very pretty cards! I recognized the paper right away because I am also hoarding that same set. I really need to let go...maybe.

  9. Lovely cards, I'd forgotten how much I love Unity products. They're virtually impossible to ship to the UK now. So nice to see your different 'takes' with the same set, Jo x
