Friday Friends with Flair

Time for another Friday Friends with Flair!  Right now, I am in Washington DC so let's hope my post appears today!

I have been working on numerous easy birthday cards - I have a DAR chapter of 277 and I decided that this year I would send each a card on their birthday.  I didn't realize how many people have birthdays in July!  This is the reason I have been so head over heels with the Simple Stories pinwheels. So easy to mass produce and they each look a bit different:-)

I hope you like them and I hope you all get to go on a July vacation:-)

FWF - Friends with Flair

TGIF!!!  I am on vacation now!!!  Here are some cards I made for my "graduating class" of DAR members who will be getting their national numbers in a few days!  Since it happens around the 4th of July, I used red/white/blue papers and "washi" tape from Target.  A recent FWF participant told me about these - they are hidden in the office supply section and they are fabulous - $4 for 4 rolls - how can you beat that?  I put these up for the Facebook challenge at Unity and was sure I would win:-)  But I didn't....however, I am in love with these Simple Stories pinwheels and I know my fabulous new members will love these cards!  The banner is from this Jillibean Soup itty bitty that is on sale at the garage sale today!

 I hope everyone has a great weekend and I see that Unity is having a garage sale so you might want to wander over there.....  And, remember to visit all the other friends today!!!

TGIF and FWF

Can you say TGIF?!  I mean it this time....these cards are  a combination of Unity and Ippity - "Enchanted Garden" and "Just a Note."

It is Friday and time to spend time with the Unity peeps and gawk at all the fabulous creations....

I am in love with the fantastic Unity and Ippity stamps, each and every one.  Seriously, have almost all of them and want all the new ones!  There is a fabulous sale on the Unity site.

This fantastic button background is part of the new Ippity release - I am in love and wish I had some buttons on hand to put randomly on there - how about that great yardstick ribbon?  I can see combining this with some of the Material Girl Unity stamps too!  Not the greatest photograph but the card really is cute.

This is Miss Hissy - she is a furball who recently stole my husband's chair when he got up.  The first time she has ever done that:-)  She looks very innocent, though....

This is from a previous Ippity release and I have shown it before but I love this stamp!

TGIF!!!!! It's FWF Time....

I can't tell you how excited I am that it is finally Friday....my life is insanely busy right now and I am waiting for vacation!  I have a couple of cards today that use an Ippity birthday sentiment from "Just Wanted to Say"...the first card also uses a frame from "Enchanted Garden" from Unity's My Little Shoebox line. Love this beautiful set!
