Growing in Unity Blog Hop

I am so excited to be sharing a blog hop with all the other Unity fans and crafters who are all amazing!  And how did I get to be your first stop?!  Welcome!

Unity Stamp Company is incredible and the people are wonderful.  I don't know why these stamps thrill me so much but, as I often say, they speak to me.  Here are a few cards I have made over time - don't have a lot of crafting time right now but I plan to create a new workspace in the near future.  I am not a very good artist but these stamps are so artistic they do all the work for you!

I enjoyed my Growing in Unity week this summer and hope I get picked for another one next year!
Here is the list of all the Growing in Unity Blog Hop participants. Visit them all and admire their awesome creations!

Growing in Unity - Day Five

COMMENT TO WIN!

This is the last day of my Growing in Unity Week and I am sorry to see it end.  Thank you to everyone who has visited and commented this week. I hope you saw something you liked and will try out some coloring projects.  Unity's people are the best!

I just love this image - the square vase is so cute and I love the flowers.  I used some light blue Nuvo dots and twine on this cute background paper and I really like the way it came out.

One more image of my crafting buddy who also says "thank you" for all the beautiful comments.  I will be drawing two winners and will let everyone know who won sometime next week.

Yes, this is another view of Miss Hissy:-)
Thanks to Unity for the opportunity to share a few creations.

Growing in Unity - Day Four

COMMENT TO WIN!

My week is going so fast!  Remember to comment to win some Unity goodness.  I love this stamp and colored it with watercolor markers (Distress ones).  I have tons of dies but my big shot is inaccessible at the moment so I marked dashes along the border of the watercolor paper.  I was looking at my patterned paper and it was a lucky coincidence that this paper matches so well.  And, of course, sheer ribbon and some Nuvo drops.  The image is from the June 2018 Kit of the Month - every kit is a steal - a great price point with a variety of images!

I will be back tomorrow with another Unity project! Remember to comment to win a chance at a Unity prize!

Growing in Unity - Day Three

COMMENT TO WIN!

I love this image from the July 2017 Kit of the month called "It's Going to Be Beautiful."  You need to check out all the images in that kit.  It is simply amazing!  I have tried throughout my cardmaking career to make one layer cards but I love my patterned paper!  I added some Unity sequins and got this pretty card.  I colored the flower with Copics and, of course, added some sheer ribbon because that is my other thing:-)

Thanks for stopping by and remember to leave a comment for a chance to win some Unity goodness.

Another view of my helper that shows her attitude. LOL

Growing in Unity - Day Two

COMMENT TO WIN!

Thanks for all your lovely comments yesterday!  Here is Day Two - don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win some Unity goodness...

I love this stamp - it is huge - from a Kit of the Month.  I used Faber Castell markers to color it and it looks pretty good.  The grey is a Copic.  I should have used watercolor paper but I still like the way it all turned out.   Coloring is not my talent but these stamps make me seem talented.   This image is from the July 2016 KOTM - Glittering Eyes.  Let me say that I cannot give up my kits - so many fabulous images and such a great price point.  (I used some Nuvo Drops on here, too.)  So glad Unity has them now...

Below is my helper - Miss Hissy.  Upside down is not really the way to stamp but she is irresistible.

Thanks for visiting and see you tomorrow!

Growing in Unity - Day One

COMMENT TO WIN!

I can't tell you how excited I am to be a Growing in Unity girl this year.  (Sorry - my Unity FB photo looks different than the one on my blog - I seem to be aging quickly now!)   My love for Unity stamps is well known.  When I buy something else, I feel a twinge of guilt.  And the new items - the ribbon, twine, and sequins are amazing.  Those sequin mixes are the best I've seen, seriously.

But, I think you came to see my project, right?  One of my favorite things is gift giving and some special tags and cards always make it extra special.  Christmas in July?  You bet.  It has been 109 degrees here and it is brutal - it is nice to think of cooler temperatures....these are in my closet ready to go - just hope I can remember where I put them when December rolls around!

These are all from the fabulous set which I love - and made my Christmas cards from it last year.  The set is called Cheerful Prancing....

Anyway, thank you for visiting and don't forget to visit Unity on Facebook and at their website. The company and  its customers have built a supportive community and we love to share!

Remember to leave a comment each day for a chance to get a Unity prize.  I can't wait to hear from you!

See you tomorrow!
